EXPECTATIONS OF SLAVES

Master regards the development of His household as His primary responsibility.  This means that His responsibility to the M/s power dynamic is to ensure that the values and foundational principles of the dynamic are stable, clear, and monitored so as to energize the members of the household to be responsible for their part of the dynamic.

Clearly, Master sees the M/s power-dynamic as a vital and organic reality with synergistic implications.  This means that Master sees Himself and His household members (boy, slave and prospects) as vital elements of the dynamic with mutual and interactive responsibilities; the combination of which results in something greater than any of them alone.  As He says,

"The household is based on the principle of synergy: 'That means 1 + 1 = 3.'  W/we end up being more than O/ourselves when W/we are totally committed to the authenticity of O/our respective natures, the well-being of the house (the M/s power dynamic), and O/our mutual striving to live transparently to a higher purpose."

Similarly, Master recognizes the organic and developmental nature of membership in the house can be challenging.  At the same time, there is the necessity to be ready to welcome new members seeking to live out their nature in an environment that is conducive to that nature.  For the house to prosper, there needs to be a necessary openness to new "blood" which ensures a future and, at the same time, introduces uncertainty to the current dynamic as the new member is incorporated into the house.  Thus, life in Master's household is internally and externally challenging which requires members to find ways to deepen their commitment to Master's authority while embracing new members in their uniqueness.  Uniformity in obedience allows for diversity in and growth of the household.

For this reason, Master has found it important, for the sake of the prospect's orientation and the stability of the household, to develop a set of expectations that ALL members of the household (new as well as older) are committed with the heart (obedience) to following.

As is characteristic of any growing organization, the need to document oral traditions provides a sense of tradition and coherence for all .  This supports stability, an essential quality for maintaining long-term commitments and the vitality of the power-dynamic.

On the other hand, this does not necessarily mean that whatever Master's expectations are, they are cast in stone and immutable.  Master is very clear that His words are evolving, dynamic, and dialectical.  Just as He evolves and deepens, He expects every member to grow toward a higher level of consciousness, commitment, and service.  In His personal developmental work, His thoughts and heart are always growing and so, too, His understanding of what is good, beautiful and true for Himself and those He takes to Himself as part of His household.

Accordingly, the following document is offered to "inquirers" at the time of their first visit to the household.  This presumes that Master and the inquirer have had numerous conversations (internet, telephone, face-to-face contact outside the house) prior to any formal visit to the house to ensure that there is preliminary compatibility between the purpose and interests of Master's house and the nature and interests of the inquirer.  (In a follow-up blog, Master will detail the "levels" involved in becoming a permanent member of the household and the various types of collars associated with each stage of incorporation.)

These expectations were first offered to a prospect so that it could be better informed as to the principles by which it will be required to live; so in turn, its consent would be more thoroughgoing, meaningful, and consensual.   Over the course of time, these expectations have become more systematized and synthesized to be understood and remembered more easily at this first reading. Upon entrance into service and training, there is a more detailed instruction as to the meaning of each so that the prospective slave has a deeper understanding of not only "what" is required, but the "why" of each expectation.

Expectations of slaves
Master Mark BlackLeather
House of BlackLeather

A slave in MASTER's house is expected to provide complete slave service and to live under the MASTER's complete authority over the slave.  Expectations of a slave in the house are clear and straightforward and based on the principles below:

  • slaves obey, serve, please and worship MASTER.

  • slaves perform all service with excellence, enthusiasm, and without hesitation.

  • MASTER expects the very best of HIS property and nothing less.

  • slaves are MASTER's property and not HIS lovers, boyfriend, etc.  This is a Total Power Exchange (TPE) household and is protocol-driven.

  • MASTER is completely responsible for HIS property and directs the life/service of HIS property so that the property serves with excellence and its talents benefit MASTER's household.

  • MASTER loves HIS property and wants only the very best of and for HIS property.  Accordingly, MASTER provides EVERYTHING that MASTER believes will foster the development and excellence of HIS property.

  • This is a 24/7/365 household.  There is no role-playing or scenes.  This is MASTER/slave (M/s) life at its fullest and richest expression.  BDSM is a normative part of the training of a slave.

  • Life within the house is orderly and organized.  MASTER states HIS expectations and slaves work to satisfy MASTER's orders and expectations with enthusiasm, excellence and without hesitation.

  • There is only one will (MASTER's) in MASTER's house.  slaves surrender all to MASTER in their obedience, service, pleasing, and worship of MASTER.

  • slaves are expected to be a) transparent and b) authentic at all times.  (Hide nothing from (transparency) and be real (authenticity) with MASTER.)

  • MASTER trains, disciplines, and punishes (when necessary to improve performance) HIS slaves so that they provide the best quality service at all times and under all circumstances.

  • MASTER expects results--not excuses--from HIS slaves.

  • MASTER expects slaves to be bright, eager, and ready to learn; relaxed in their actions; at peace and harmony in HIS house; and putting their body, mind, heart and spirit in service of MASTER and the purpose to which the house has been called (hospitality, education, and community service).

  • MASTER enjoys HIS property and expects to be served with good humor, loyalty, dedication, and love.

  • MASTER expects HIS property to be focused upon service to MASTER and fostering slave fellowship with the other slaves.  There are no other comparisons nor distractions than the obedience, service, pleasing and worship of a slave.

  • There are no exceptions to MASTER's will.

New slaves taken into MY household are trained in the manner of this household and MASTER's expectations. Be attentive to the requirements of this house and do not compare this MASTER/house to another Master/house.  Each Master/household is unique and distinct—as are slaves.  This household honors and respects those differences and expects the same in return.

Depending upon the slave’s previous experience, training may take more or less time and is always developmental in nature.  Accordingly, slave nature is expected to evolve and manifest within MASTER’s household in a more durable and consistent manner as training progresses toward permanent ownership.

The greater the congruence between its true-nature and behavioral responses, the greater the authenticity a slave manifests.  The more quickly a slave learns and lives the authenticity of its nature and service to MASTER (as proceeding from slaveheart), the faster its service pleases MASTER and deepens MASTER's consideration of permanent ownership.  In turn, it is more likely that its talents and abilities will be discovered and developed for the good of the house and to the benefit to its life within the M/s dynamic of the house.

If this prospect's nature is drawn to this manner of life, I will interview it more thoroughly in a live interview and inspection.  Send an email
to indicate its request to continue with consideration as slave prospect in MASTER's  household.

INTRODUCTION

The House of BlackLeather is a Master/slave (M/s) household located in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.  Master Mark BlackLeather is head-of-house and has a poly leather-household/family consisting of a boy, a 24/7/365 collared slave, and three prospects in various stages of training and service. MASTER and household members at the casino on a household outing.  Being a "real" household means knowing how to have "fun" outside the household as well. The household is committed to living the M/s dynamic with authenticity and transparency and welcomes others interested in pursuing the same.  Master offers training sessions that explore the nature of the M/s dynamic and assists inquirers to self-identify (boy, sub, pet, slave, or property/object) and to live their nature with authenticity and pride.   Whatever the nature of the inquirer or level of experience (novice to expert), each is expected to obey, serve, please, and worship Master with enthusiasm, excellence and wit

RECRUITMENT AND ACQUISITION PROCESS

Greetings prospective property to the House of BlackLeather. The following will give it some indication of the kind of property that MASTER seeks and some of the general parameters and/or conditions that enable it to be possessed as property.  MASTER is fully aware that what MASTER seeks may or may not be what a prospective property seeks.  Thus, MASTER's responsibility is to offer clarity so that both MASTER and property are very aware of what MASTER expects so that the property can make a well-informed and grounded decision as to whether to proceed or not as prospective property in this MASTER’s household.  By making as much of what is expected known upfront reduces misunderstanding and potential claims of abuse.  MASTER is seeking only those which are by nature born to servitude and ownership, desire to be claimed and owned, and voluntarily seek this manner of life experience.  Finally, MASTER seeks those that consensually affirm their willing participation in growing a

COMPLETE OBEDIENCE

In my opinion the removal of eyebrows, more than anything else makes a slave look subhuman, abnormal, a freak, and a thing that has surrendered everything to MASTER.  Such a slave is like a blank canvas upon which MASTER is able to form it as MASTER pleases knowing all the while, the slave understands that this is what it is for, the reason for its creation, and the manner of experiencing its full nature.  People in the street will, stare, not obvious at first what is disturbing them about its appearance. Then they will see it and look away, embarrassed, feeling pity or disgust, possibly sneering or even laughing.  The slave will struggle with the effects of shame-inducing social feedback.  Yet, for a bornslave, there is only pride in knowing that it obeyed MASTER's will and purpose with no regard for or about itself.  MASTER ordered, it obeyed.  There is nothing more to be ashamed about as the slave recognizes that it is now truly the property of another and whatever shame or
